The backbone of any Safety Program starts with the commitment of top management.

At SBS Construction, the Principals and Executive Committee members all take an active role in ensuring that every project site operates in a safe manner. SBS employs a full-time Safety Coordinator who works with our Field Personnel and various consultants to ensure every project site has the necessary safety equipment required. SBS has worked with the same Safety Consultant for 15+ years who reports directly to the Principals of the Company. Our Safety Consultant visits project sites regularly and provides training and expert advice to Project Managers and Superintendents.

SBS, our Safety Coordinator and Safety Consultant have access to work with the Safety Departments of our Insurance Agent as well as the Safety Personnel of our Insurance Providers. As SBS moves to new markets with our clients, SBS has engaged local Safety Consultants to ensure each project site is inspected on a regular basis. Working together as a team, SBS has been able to meet and exceed the requirements of OSHA and all regulatory agencies for over 28 years without any major incidents or accidents.
