SBS Construction is proud to be involved with a new business park that has started construction in Pflugerville and is designed to help small businesses.

The park will be at 18629 Weiss Lane and is set to be completed in February 2024. A groundbreaking ceremony for the park was hosted by the Pflugerville Community Development Corporation and the Pflugerville Chamber of Commerce on Nov. 17.

The project is being developed by CB Capital, an Austin-based investment and real estate firm. CB Capital is funding the entire project.

“Pflugerville is leading the country in responsible and smart growth. We’re excited to invest in this dynamic economy and to deliver a flexible office/warehouse project to add to the city’s offerings. We are grateful to our partners at the PCDC, Chamber of Commerce, and City Hall for helping make this project a reality,” said Brian Haley, co-founder of CB Capital.

Amy Madison, executive director of the Pflugerville Community Development Corporation, said the park is intended to fill a gap in the startup world by catering to small businesses. Madison said business parks space is usually 3,000 square feet.

The business park will have two buildings for a total of 40,506 square feet. The first will be 25,381 square feet with trailer parking and 56 parking spots. Building two will be 15,125 square feet with trailer parking and 28 parking spots.

The buildings can serve as office space, warehousing, distribution and light manufacturing, Madison said.

Madison said the park will help local businesses have a place to house the different stages of their development.

“There is strong demand for multi-purpose units that provide office/industrial users in Pflugerville an opportunity to grow and thrive, and this new project fills a big gap in our local inventory,” said Madison. “This development will be a catalyst for small businesses to serve the region, create jobs and invest in our community.”

CB Capital officials said the Weiss Lane location was picked for its quick access to major highways, including Texas 130, Texas 45 and Interstate 35.

SBS Construction is the general contractor for the project and Fuse Architecture Studio is the architect.
